also, if you assign a clip first hitting c1, and while pressing c1 hit c2, then you will have time stretched pitch change over the keyboard range c1 to c2 for that clip. Pretty cool feature.

Pretty cool if you don't plan on using your keyboard to actually play any other instruments in your live ...

Oh, wow, according to the pdf of Automap 3 you don't have to worry about the double Audio Units (AMEN!), but VSTs still load separately:

Mac AU:

A single file is created which holds the information for all wrapped AUs: AUAutomapClient.component

Mac HD > Users > Your user name > Library > Audio ...

The thing that bother me the most about plug-in automap is that you have to use a wrapped version of the plug-in. That's a bigger commitment than I'm really ready for.
