Group buy?

When,Where..... :?:
They had a massive group buy not too long ago.
I wouldn't set my hopes too high for another one anytime soon.
But I've been wrong before.

Re: Hard Disk Overload Indicator

In the end, what did work for me was to deselect the "Fast Bounce" option when exporting my track in Sonar.
(the problem was occurring when I was bouncing my track)

Hum... I don't know if that's an inside joke between you two or what.
But you can do that on Windows as well. Changing the date I mean.

Re: Hard Disk Overload Indicator

I found this interesting thread on KVR .

To fix the problem, I could:

1. Select RAM on some clip so they are loaded in memory.
2. Freeze some tracks. (I found this suggestion somewhere else... not sure though?)

Nope. That didn't help in my case. I really don't get it.
I'm going to wait for a ...

Re: Hard Disk Overload Indicator

what kind of specs does your harddrive have?

72000rpm and greater is a must (helps a LOT).

get more ram too.

I have a 7200 RPM hard drive. Live is using very little RAM. This does not seem to be the problem.
I also did a disk defrag. The problem seems to be between Live and its ReWire master ...

Hard Disk Overload Indicator

What can I do to avoid that? I rewire Live into Sonar. I play about 10 samples at the same time in Live. How can I avoid getting the "Hard Disk Overload Indicator" ?

Thanks for any advice.

Re: Live 8.0.1 Rewire issues with Sonar 8.3.1

I have found my problem. It seems to be because the "Hard Disk Overload Indicator" lights up.

I have about 10 (very long) samples playing. Should that really be a problem? What can I do to fix that?

Re: dead mou5e

Hummm... nah I don't think he will fade away.

What he produces doesn't appeal to me. But it is accessible music and that's why people like him.
He is also quite good live. Very good technically. Again, I do not like everything he does live -
like overusing effects - but I can see why people like ...

Live 8.0.1 Rewire issues with Sonar 8.3.1

Hi,

I am running into issues with Ableton Live 8.0.1 rewired into Sonar 8.3.1. The tracks from Live stop intermittently for no apparent reason. Those tracks are not even synthesizers... just plain audio. If I freeze just a single track in Sonar (it seems weird to freeze plain audio, but I had to ...

Can't quite remember... I'm brain dead, remember? :?

By reading the responses on this thread, I would say there is a little bit of the devil in everybody here...

I'm the devil, and I'm here to do the devil's business.

Name the quote without web searching it and I'll be impressed Mr. BB KIng.

I am 35 years old software developer from the Montreal area in Canada. I live in the suburbs and take the train to work too. No wife, no kids, but I still got my hair. I'm into electronic music as well. I think Jesus must have been a cool dude, but I never attend church as it bores me to death. I ...

Re: Another new controller - Niiiiiiice (almost)

What I don't get, is that people who buy any of the new SL controllers get Automap PRO for free.
I got a Nocturn and SL 61 and had to pay for Automap PRO.

Novation weirdness once again.

Has anyone seen this in action?
