waddup m! good to see you here ahh,, d= disk activity. recommend running that project off an external drive,, firewire prefered, no need to look in activity monitor now,,,its your disk performance some people upgrade there internal drives to 7200 rpm for better performance but its always a good idea...

welcome to the forums, hey i know u ;) raise your buffer, live/preferences/audio settingg/hardware setup higher buffer= more headroom for your cpu, lower buffer= less latency, less cpu performance not sure but you might get glitches too if you run out of ram,, check your system performance through a...

do the "splice to drum tracks" function,, splice to 16th notes and not transients,
insert arpegiator and start at fastest setting ,, then gradually slow down to 16th notes.
this will give you a similar effect to the robot human robot human thing that happens at the begining of alive

now rocking 128 buffer in windows 7,, not sure what i did to increase the performance as i did a bunch of things and either one or the combination of all made the little difference to get me glitch free operation at small buffer sizes..and with aero enabled! some of the tweaks idid,, rme- new driver...

i have xp partition stripped down for live rig only and windows 7 for my everyday stuff and also use it regularly for producing and writing music ect, i can get my xp partition down to 128 buffer and load up to about 90% performance no problem, on my windows 7 partition i have to be at 256 otherwise...
