You could create an audio track recording the track you're tweaking, post-mixer. Then record clips of that stuff.

Change quantization to global or 1 bar. Or whatever you're doing. If I understand your question correctly.
Just fiddle with everything. The manual is great. So is utilizing info view in the bottom left corner.

Re: go crazy! knob crazy!
Never mind the fact that most on-screen knobs don't operate with two touch points or rotation.
You just slide them up and down.
Even if you did manage to attach a bunch of knobs to an iPad. Well. That's just silly.

nthing Trader Joe's pizza dough.
Makes me want to get a pizza stone. Making your own pizza is almost as rewarding as eating it.
Now beer on the other hand; I'd like to brew my own some day, but I'd probably fuck it up.

Re: Korg MicroKontrol - New Python Control Surface Script
I'm having problems. Live 8.1.1 on an Intel Mac. The Kontrol never enters Native Mode.
I've got the folders copied to MIDI Remote Scripts, IAC Driver set up, MIDI Control Surfaces set to what the manual says...
:( I was super pumped about this working. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Integrating Live with a band on stage
You can input BPM and Time Signature into a scene, that when launched, changes Ableton's time: http://www.theworshipcommunity.com/assigning-tempos-to-scenes-in-ableton-live/ For example, have a scene named 120 BPM 3/3 to instantly change to 3/3 timing at 120 bpm when that scene is launched. I haven'...

Re: using the korg microkontrol pads to trigger samples in live
You don't need software at all to change the MicroKontrol parameters. Hit the shift button SETTTING, should be above the octave buttons. Then hit the Pad that says "Pad". Top row. Now, you should figure out how to change those pads to send out Note information. They should also be momentar...

Intellectual rubbish rocks.but the majority of the crowd gives a total shit as long as it is not some intellectual rubbish and it simply rocks the socks off.

Great track. Someone mentioned Postal Service and made it sound like an insult. I like their music, and I like your song. I'm definitely a fan of the pop song, and you nailed it on this one.
Keep it up.

Yes, you can use sliders and knobs for switches. Any parameter over 64 is on, under is off.
