obviously the dot is not loved by all, i will try to understand the dot but it certainly not intuitave, at least we should have a choice.

does anybody know if live5 will suppport xgrid? would be fantasic if it is possible to us several computers. thanks

or you can put a utility plug in on the channel to convert it to mono

make sure you have got the sound card selected in the system preferences in live and in the audio preferences in your operating system. if your soundcard is working just not in live then do what the last guy said.
