that's a common misconception with midi. starving student knows the mpc pretty well, he's usually pretty good help.

Thanks family, It took a while for me to figure it out, you cant hear anything with midi, and you see it in live by the EXT button. so I have my mpc 500 connected to uno( mpc out to uno in) i didnt do this the first time. I know this might not be clear because Im excited to see my mpc control live ...

No this is not a hoax, Im really trying to hook up my mpc to live. Im going to try the link, maybe its the way I set up the mpc or maybe its the uno, because when I just record one track on the mpc and play it back the midi out light flashes on the uno. And If i just tap a pad I dont see that live ...

is there any particular reason why no one can give me any clues or steps to take...Or is this not possible and the people who said they do it are lying...Can anyone help the child out, it would be appreciated...
