Re: Ableton for music production. PC vs Mac
Don't invest shitloads of money on a new computer beforehand without knowing if you actually really going to need it. It depends on the way you work but your current laptop will probably handle Ableton 8 just fine. Remember, for the price of a mac book you can buy yourself a decent pair of monitors....

You are probably suggesting that thi...

man you're desperate to give his crap cred. it does give her career legitimacy, in the same way it gives Hitler legitimacy as a ruler. he made a lot of money, lead millions of people and his empire flourished. he was an awful piece of shit ruler but by your measure he was a great one. the guy has t...

Re: Best drugs since XTC!
Cheryl Crow gets stuck in peoples' heads. that doesn't validate her career. In fact, that exactly validates her career. Creating music that really sticks to your head is way, way more difficult then it sounds, and you know it. Let alone creating sticky tunes with underground style (aka non-poppy) m...

This program is just the beginning of a new music revolution, just like Melodyne DNA. Within now and 5 years it's possible for even my grand ma to completely reverse engineer the most complex songs in just seconds and remix it on the fly.

CM has always been a great magazine for newbies: tons of usefull reads, videos, samples & free programs to really get you kick-started. After a while though it get's less usefull and more a bit of a nice travel read.

Re: My super duper in depth review of the APC40
I agree with some people that the review was a bit on the desciptive side but still it was a good read.
Would love to watch a real video review from you, on top of the "opening the box" impression.

Re: Video - Apc40 - Opening the box and plugging in
I´m impressed how intuitive this controller is literally right out of the box! What´s your opinion of this thing compared to the Vestax VCM600? Are you still going to use the Vestax at the Ableton Live 8 launch in Melbourne? If you will switch to the Apc40 by then I must say that this is a pretty sm...
