Just got my Quad G5

2.5GHz Quad-core PowerPC G5
8GB DDR533 NON ECC
500GB Serial ATA-7200rpm
Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.3

Peak: 30%
Lowest: 27%

Since Live isn't multi-processor aware this result is obviously based on only one of the four cores (2.5 G5)

Taking this thread slightly off topic again but does anyone know if Reason 3 takes advantage of multiple CPUs? I've decided to go with Logic Pro 7 and already have Live 4 and 5. I used Reason a few years ago and may consider adding it to my rig if it supports multiple CPUs.

Thanks for the replys. I kind of worried that this would be the case but yes I did notice the thread on tricking Live into using multiple CPUs which I'll look into when my machine arrives in a few weeks.

Just purchased Live 4 today from my local retailer after reading about the Live 5 upgrade offer A standalone Live 5 manual purchase should definately be an option for us Live 4 -> Live 5 purchasers.
