@goveiamarian I didn't know about that, but I can see how that would be very annoying. =/ Yet another problem with Live's automation.

@kthxbye I would say that perhaps your buffer settings have changed, which would have shifted your automation out of sync ...

I've been thinking the same thing, I would love an option to be able to unload the frozen instruments from the memory automatically, would make life a lot easier. Either that or have a 64 bit version of Live, which is apparantly on the way. I really hope it's soon.

Automation not in sync with GUI

Okay, so the automation I hear on Live7 doesn't match up to what is displayed on the GUI. I've searched the forums a few times and it never seems to come up, so I don't know if it's just my setup.

yes you can do it in live 7, no idea about live 5 tho. I use the envelope section to do it, can do it via the midi cc7 or cc11: volume and expression. Wouldn't be the only way of doing it either... Good luck :)

hey men.. isn't so hard to check if i'm right or not.. take a sample.. put 1000ms and export it.. you'll see immediately if there is an empty space before or not.. and the answer is not.. at least in live 6


Just tried this out to check it... In 7.0.15 i put a 1000ms delay on a track and exported ...
