What I do not understand is that in ararngement view, all automation is recorded in the track where the Virus TI control is plugged in and not on the individual tracks that point to the Virus TI track.

In XP you could put your Remote Scripts in the following folder:

c:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Ableton\6.0.1\Preferences\User Remote Scripts

Where do you put them in Vista? (I use Live 6.0.7)

i have an edirol pcr m30
the some of the hi and mid keys stopped working on it..
it was about a year after i bought it when the first key
stopped then slowly more and more stopped..
at the moment i only use the control nobs and sliders..
because its just to bloody frustrating trying to play it ...

Any chance if anyone knows what the folder in VISTA is where to put the configuration file?

I generally switch VST instruments on and off using automation in an arrangement.
I also use two notebooks that are connected to only one midi-controller. So with this setup I can switch very fast between two songs. While one notebook plays, the other one is loading the next song and vise versa.

We use Ableton Live since version 4. We use it live on stage and as our main recording tool and we'll probably never use anything else anymore!

Yep,
It can recieve SysEx commands, but Ableton Live does not support that. So, the only way to go is to define different programs and choose the right program by hand everytime you load up a new song.... bummer.

Just called with Edirol in the states: "can't be done...."

So, it is just not possible.

I tried to send a bank and program change to my Edirol PCR-M30 controller, but it seems that nothing is recieved.
Sending it to my Korg Triton works flawless.

Any ideas how to get this to work on my Edirol PCR-M30 too?
