Tone sculpture will not load in Live 8. Keep getting a message when I double click it that its broken. How can this be fixed as I already tried repairing the library.

Well as i said. When i turn off my pc sound then Live does not recognize the Automap in my input and output drop down boxes within Live. It does recognize the Nocturn keyboard. What must i do please help.

Please help me. For some reason Live is not picking up my midi keyboard (Nocturn 25) When I disable my pc sound. It works fine when I'm using Pro Tools and listening through my headphone (for this I dont switch off pc sound)
What must I do?
I'm using Live 8.

I'm exporting at the same sample rate as well, its could just be that I have to narrow it down. Thanx will post again if all else fails.

Hey Im getting this deep bass sort of hollow sound when I export a file from Live.
How do I get rid of that is there a setting or do I have to max volume all the instruments in the track,except bass?
I'm using my home theatre and on board sound.

hi, i just want to apologise about the earlier post. It turns out it had nothing to do with me updating my drivers, it was something called MS GS Wavetable Synth that was causing conflict...but i sorted it out now.

Thanks for all the input everyone gave. It seems all I had to do in order for ASIO4All to work was update my machines drivers, At first my input ports were crossed out(as shown in your picture that your posted pencilrocket) and gave me a message stating that it was not available and was being used b...

@pencilrocket & mbird21..thanks for the advice however it doesn't work and it is really frustrating..let me remind you again..i plug my mic straight into my pc , no interface no nothing...does Asio4All only work if I have a sound card in my machine or should it work with on board sound as well?

Hi, When using mmxdirect, I can record vocals and listen to my tracks play but when I use Asio4all I can hear the music through my sound system playing but when I choose the input for the mic, Asio4all fails to play anything back and when I use mmxdirect to do vocals on my mic I get latency. The course is 8 weeks long and cost just over 2 Grand, so I'm now considering it as you say good production is good production, however will it be difficult to make use of what I've learn't using Cubase and putting it into use in Live.

Im currently using Live 8 and enjoying what the programe does, I never studied it but did watch some tutorials on how to use it. Now I have the opportunity to study music production part - time. The only problem or I don't know if I should call it that, is the course is done using Reason 5,Cubase 5,...

I bought a headset with a mic and used it to record my vocals, but unfortunately the mic input broke and now when I try using my other mic , which is not a headset mic but an ordinary one ASIO4ALL does not pick it up and I get huge latency..is there perhaps another way can can get rid of this problem?
