You want live to monitor the signal coming from guitar and then apply volume swell effects real time? The way I would try to to achieve this (if I had access to ableton) with a series of simple delays with maxed out Dry/Wet values and mess with the feedback settings this may give you the attack enve...

you should make sure the Monitoring on your Audio track (microphone) is set to off. This should then only let you hear the effected sounds.

the metronome is the key here, with it activated, do one or both of the tracks go out of sync? are they short loops or long loops? If they were autowarped by ableton they don't always work 100% to the track try tweaking the warp markers...

you can copy and paste automation lane data in arrangement view. press record then change the time sig where you want it changed then copy and paste along the timeline.
