Re: ableton 905 problem with osx...??? spinning wheel!!

Are you sure you mean OS X 10.0.4? I also have serious problems with Live 9.05. Sorry to say because I have had very little problems before. Even with early 8 versions. Never like this. Spinning wheel is just the beginning. And now I have a live performance in one week. Today: starting new project w...

Re: Cant start after 9.0.5 update

Now, v. 9.0.5 does not communicate with Automap. Hence my Launchpad and Nocturn are useless.

Edit: Launchpad works (when Automap is off), Nocturn useless and Ultranova no Automap use.

They all worked in my last (I think 9.0.3) version setup.

Re: Cant start after 9.0.5 update

It seems it has to do with Automap.

When loading Live the Automap server is started and Live waits for a response from Automap that never comes. When I quit Automap the Live app continues to load.

Ugly solution, though.

Cant start after 9.0.5 update

I updated to latest 9.0.5 Live version yesterday. Now the application wont start. It stops on ”initializing audio inputs and outputs”. I have tried to re-install but no effect.

OS X 10.6.8, 5 year old Macbook Pro.

What to do?

You should be able to drag them from the live browser and from the finder on Mac, did not test on a windows. You cannot drag clips from session or arranger yet, that's a limitation of M4L still.

Thanks answered my question.

[amo] Midi clip Real rec only one bar?

I dont know if this is a feature or if there is a setting somewhere, but it seams to be different behaviour from Live 7.

When recording on a midi track with the Analog plugin from computer keys the clip looped after one bar even though I was still playing.

Analog: Filter/Amp on/off causes silence

Im new at the beta, so im sorry if this is old news. Trying to catch up. However I just started to try things out. This is my first: Working with Analog, I used both OSCs and both filters. When I toggled the Filt2 on/off or the Amp1 on/off the midi input (from computer keys) had no longer effect unt...

Underwaterlab: it would make me very surprised and disapointed if the Abes did not respond to this request, because my impression is that the listen to users and good ideas.

And I am sure they have seen this thread.
Hopefully not to late to implement it in L7.

Hoffman: I saw this one at http://puremagnetik.com/ and have used it a little. It is a ruff and dirty road to something that should be built in to Live.

And the fact that this solution exists is a clear sign that a real device is needed.

Thanx anyway

There is something like it in Live allready. You can draw sequences and drumclips with the pen tool. But it is limited to using the mouse. Steps cannot be toggled with a controller. And you dont use it live, which could be a good thing in ... Live. A midi device would be a natural way to go. C

Yepp.

* There are very few, if any VST/AU alternatives. At least on the mac.
* This would unleash new live performance capabilities for midi hardware and software.
