Hi im new to ableton and getting the hang of it.
My question is.

I have Ableton and my M-audio fasttrack pro connected to my laptop.
I also have my external harddrive connected.

How can i take a audio track from my Extrnal hd and put in on a track in ableton.

You hear a lovely echo reverb on big ballads like joe longthorne did on his live shows.

i cant seem to get the right effects on my vocals,i sing alot of ballads and can never find the effects that i hear on the origional tracks.Oh sorry,im using ableton 7 live.

Hi again,Thankyou for the help with previous posts im enjoying recording now.Id like to put my finished recordings to audio cd,do i need to make the recording a different format after ive saved it in live?

Hi there,ive upgraded to live 7 full version.
can you tell me where i can get tutorials for using vocal effects and compression.i have looked in live manual but it doesnt go into detail about individual effects.

I have suceeded in adding my music to a track by way of dragging but the track plays very fast,ive tried several different music mp3 and it does it to them all as if they have been speeded up.

Its not happening..........

im adding an extra audio track and trying to drag a music file from documents to the track but nothing happens,is it because im using live lite 6 ???????is this a half version so to speak???

sorry im new to all this and was replying to another threat i had posted, Im trying to take a music mp3 file from my documents and put it strait into a track on live so i dont need to record the mp3 from a different sourse........... basically,can i copy and paste a music track strait to a empty aud...

i am using live lite 6 does that make any difference????

Im still finding it difficult to drop a track of music into a track in live.Do i basically drag my mp3 over to one of the audio tracks in live ????..........
