Re: Audeze LCD-X - Audio Interface Vs Headphone Amp

I recently picked up the Apogee groove. It drives my Sennheiser HD-650s just fine. Sort of expensive but works well and takes almost no space.

Re: Anybody making a living teaching electronic music production

I recently gave Rick Snoman and company enough money to live off for a few days on the Dancemusicproduction website.
Some people are willing to pay if you are good and have something that is well organized.

Re: Toneport KB37 and Live 8

Make sure you run the midi tools program in the line 6 program group(start menu, programs, line 6, tools?)
Hope that helps...

Re: How to learn my gear and soft most efficiently?

Do covers of songs you really like. Try to break them down and copy or modify each part. This shows you how songs are arranged and helps you learn tools you have by trying to emulate what you like and by actually using the tools instead of just looking at what they do.

Re: Slightly more important than.. . .

Not only is it stupid to think spending all this money will change things climate wise in a direction it is not already going, it is stupid to send your personal info off to whoever wants it. People(salespeople and spammers) pay good money for stuff like name lists with e-mail. 8O

Lots of people are doing it. This website has more than you will ever want to know about it. It is often a huge learning journey and hobby in itself.

I re read the books every couple years. I love the old series(not written by the son). I thought the movie sucked but the books are excellent.

Re: BIG LOUD BANG - HELP

I had a similar problem recently. When I'd move the position slider in media player or start a song, it would start out with a loud distorted noise. Also, the sound overall was a bit muddy and levels would change slightly on their own. It turned out that I ruined my sound by attempting to update my ...

Previewing sounds in live's browser

When trying to find the right sound to use in a drum rack for example, how do you guys preview non sampled sounds? For example, I put the word "kick" in the browser search and get lots of kicks listed below, but I can(as far as I know) only preview the sample sounds and not the operator presets. Do ...

Re: OT: PC users and MOTU Ultralite

All, Thank you for taking the time to consider my situation. It turns out that I did decide to go back and compare the old onboard sound with the new sound. Guess what... The motherboard was the problem. The old sound is distorted and sounds like crap. It was coincedental to my installing the Ultral...
