Re: TAL Chorus 60 has some strange inaudible frequencies?
Can someone who has the Chorus 60 give this a test as well? I'm just very curious.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

TAL Chorus 60 has some strange inaudible frequencies?
Just downloaded the TAL Chorus 60 since I love the TAL U-No-62, and of course I love it's Juno chorus. After throwing it on a return channel (so the plug would be left on at all times), I noticed on the spectral frequency graph I have on my master that it outputs some weird high frequencies, but onl...

Re: ms vs Smp for Track Delay? What's the actual difference?
lol, Rabaider, you get a golden star for effort, but saying they are exactly the same is wrong!
each sample is 0.0208 milliseconds long
lol appreciate you replying the thread, now we both learned something new

Re: ms vs Smp for Track Delay? What's the actual difference?
Thanks for that info fishmonkey. What I wanted to find out was wether this was actually a finer delay tool than using time delay. Since it's finer, it might come in handy for stereo imaging effects.

ms vs Smp for Track Delay? What's the actual difference?
I am trying to figure out what exactly Smp delay does. From what I think it is, it's delaying the audio sample physically by a certain amount of cents. I just have no clue how big and small the increases are. I just looked through my Live manual, and not a mention. What's the point of a manual if no...

Here is the link to the blog post by Deadmau5 where he talks to Steve Duda about the Inpulse taking away transient:

Impulse vs Simpler vs Drum Rack for simply one-shots
I've searched the forums, google, other forums, and I can't seem to dig up an old thread I read on this, but it's very worth raising this question again. Several years ago I read something Deadmau5 had said in regards to Impulse vs Simpler for programming Kick Drums. He said that they were not in-fa...

Anyone use Nerve? I'm having issues with it syncing
Hi guys, Anyone here have Nerve? I'm just testing it out via the demo version, and I can't get it to run properly. Here's the problem... It's running ahead of the master clock in Ableton! I can confirm this by turning on the metronome on both Live and Nerve, and Nerve is triggering several milliseco...

Re: Simpler vs Impulse - Volume Differences?
So far I'm just using samples from a few samples packs I've bought over the last year. Haven't had much time to get down and dirty until recently unfortunately, so the samples have accumulated and now I have quite a few. I doubt I'll be coming close to making my own samples that soon, so for now jus...

Simpler vs Impulse - Volume Differences?
Hello guys, I'm pretty newb here, trying to sort some things out. Getting a good kick is definitely one of them, and I've been mucking around with both Impulse and Simpler as my starting point. I loaded the same kick drum sample into both Simpler and Impulse to hear the differences. I turned the vel...

Re: Question about EQ's for live DJ performances
How does Ableton work with mixers that are not specifically designed for Ableton use? How would I "plug" Ableton into my Rane Empath for example, to make use of the Rane EQ's? When I am playing an MP3 without an EQ in Ableton (because I deleted it from the audio channel, for example), am I...

Re: AbletonWarps.com - pre-warped acapellas & tracks!
I just tried downloading a couple Acapella's. When the tracks were loaded up into Live, they were not already warped.

Question about EQ's for live DJ performances
So I am still very new to Ableton (I've been working with it for 4 months now and I still feel new to the program). I'm trying to make a switch from DJing with Serato and a proper mixer to DJing with Ableton. What I'm trying to figure out is whether I can plug Ableton straight into a mixer such as t...
