Re: Live 10.03 lagging like hell - SOLVED!!

I found this same issue on Windows 10 and 10.0.3. Support has given me the same reply as above which I haven't been able to try out just yet. but I found I could workaround the problem by setting the UI zoom at anything other than 100% (eg 101% or 99%).

Forget that, the crash seems displaced now at closing the GUI ffs.

Not sure if anybody is still experiencing this problem, but sure as hell I do.

Anyway it seems that running it through jBridge irons out whatever made it crash on keypress. So far so good.

Re: Cracks & pops when starting or stopping playback

It gets worse as a project gets bigger. The CPU spikes are there ALWAYS even on newer projects. The cracks and pops happen when the CPU can't cope with this spike. My current project has a point in which, if you start playback there, it spikes to 120% (ableton meter) then stabilises to 60%, whereas ...

Been out of the game for some time travelling around.

Was this ever fixed at all?

Re: what is your strategy about collect/save with VSTi presets??

When you save a project, all device parameters are stored within ableton's project file. Someone else with your same synths should be able to pick up on your project file with ease.

Re: Simultaneous CPU Spikes With Ableton and Other Processes

Not sure if the Activity Monitor is the meter in Ableton, or the CPU load on the task manager; if it's the first, the meter doesn't measure CPU usage but rather how much CPU time it's taking to process what it's being rendered. IE for 1 second of audio, 29% on the meter means that it took 290ms to p...

Re: Extra sound that SHOULDNT be there. help :(

I think the mp3 compression is just highlighting an existing issue.

Open the WAV on audacity, select the entire waveform, then analyze > find clipping.

Re: Extra sound that SHOULDNT be there. help :(

Even better if you could identify what instrument could be adding that much level in that one spot and put a compressor on it :)

Re: Extra sound that SHOULDNT be there. help :(

Is it something that sounds like a clipping click on the right channel? Does it happen on the WAV file generated by ableton?

PS: lovely tune

Re: Cracks & pops when starting or stopping playback

Hope Mac users are alleviated by that, unfortunately no IAC in windows so that can't be the issue for us :/

I'm in talks with a support technician, the problem is that I'm on a very tight deadline and can't spare much time for stress tests and whatnot :/

Re: How to make the chain selector activate one device at a time

I have a similar instrument containing 7 or 8 chains, the way I do it is a pain in the arse but also works. I map the computer keys 0-9 to turn on each of these chains and turn all the rest off - setting this up is very laborious (eg you set "2" to turn on chain 2, but also to turn off all...
