Ableton is my favourite GUI because to make music I don't need a representation of the real world, and this schematic 2D flat GUI is fantastic.
Anyway I agree with some crucial point:

more precise metering and waveshape for editing.

editing a multitrack is so boring....every clip needs a selection to apply fades......aaaarghhh

Hi all Abletonians! I mean for example: you have a drums multitrack recording (kick, snare, toms, overheads etc...) and you need to adjust some wrong hit of the drummer, in this case a kick hit.. you cannot warp only the kick track because the kick hit can heard also in the other tracks, so you have to warp all the dru...

i think track comping need a playlist mode in the tracks like protools so maybe is not so simple to implement.
