It's simply 8 Beat Repeats mapped to a chain control so you can use a knob on your MIDI controller to select which one you want.

You could also use the Filter within each Beat Repeat to set ...

Though it was difficult to make out what you're asking for, I've managed it and I would agree that using an instrument is better
