Those are very old versions of traktor - ie before traktor pro. yes, if they do use the same version of elastique, i'm suprised the reference list is not more up to date... i can only find this article that claims traktor pro also uses version 2.x http://musicindustrynewswire.com/2009/02/20/min1182...

Re: warping tracks for use with CDJ's. & loss of audio quality
The first two you often come across on CD descks anyway if using a pitch lock. (called tempo lock on pioneer CDJs). Thanks for pointing that out Khazul. How does Live's time stretching compare to for instance the CDJ 1000? I've read that in Live using Complex pro warp mode you are basically using Z...

Re: dj mix / composition inquiry
the better you know the basics of Live the easier it will be to compose a dj-mix in it. i strongly advise you to learn how to warp all your audio files properly before getting started, warping correctly is the key. for a non realtime recorded mix that you are talking about doing, i'd drag and drop a...

You'll never regret buying a pair of Sennheiser HD25:s!
Sturdy like they were built by the Russian Army...
I've had mine for 5 years now, still sound great. Best thing is that
you can get spare parts for them in case you brake them.

Re: TeeBee (featured in Retro Synths) vs. Audiorealism Bassline
If I recall correctly, Josh Wink used the MC-202 to create the acid sounds in that track. Nah, this is some kind of urban legend after a misquote from an old interview Josh gave - i don't remember were, have to ask again. But the hsoc line is a 303 line. But as we are at it: d16 are just working on...

Re: Guess what ... goin MAC ?! Big dilemma
there is a big difference in price between the 13 and 15 inch but also a considerable difference in processing power as well as screen resolution! as someone else put it here on the forum: "the core2duo is 4 years old. i would'nt pay top dollar for the 13 inch macbook pro" i just ordered t...

Re: Need Monitor Purchase Advice
IMHO, they were slightly muddier than the Yamahas, but still very very good, and at a great price. i can agree to that. "tighter" sound in the yamahas, faster response. but the rokits matched my taste and budget =) Love these threads. For every praise heaped on a certain speaker there's a...
