Re: Help setting up MPK 25
Thanks for sharing your call info...I guess if I'm primarily using the APC40 then just setting it as a control device using the MPK49 template should be fine for now...right??

Re: Help setting up MPK 25
hey.
got the mpk too.
i selected the device in the control surfaces from the mpk49 on the top of the midi preferences.
all works fine, until you want to assign your own midi cc..
there can be a problem:
maybe if you assign a knob to a (for example) cutoff, it also moves the level of a track ...

Re: Anyone have an Akai MPK49 and APC40?
Funny you should ask...or I guess I should say, funny I happened to look on the forum. Just got back from the store and am setting up my MPK25 with my APC40 into my setup so I thought I'd pause to shoot you the pic you crave. The APC40 IS half the depth but the MPK25 is about 1.5" longer but .5 ...

render to .wav and you can use that, but you can't open a Live 8 set in Live 7, it's always been like this.
Thanks for your help on this! So I suppose my only option would just be to place the .wav file onto it's own clip and build around it, right?
Cheers.

Can I use projects created with Live 8 in Live 7?
Sorry if this is covered but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've been trial-ing Live 8 and have created a project. Will I be able to keep this project when I go back to Live 7? If yes, (and I hope it is!) then how do I go about doing it?
Cheers everyone!

Yeah, just finished watching it through another site. Very nice. I'm glad I noticed that you had posted the link here before I double-posted it. Whew!
BTW, I discovered it through a site called PCmusic.org/Macmusic.org which seems to be a really nice site. Check it.
