the cue output - for cueing the files in the browser or cueing a track for dj-ing - you mean that ?

i know you have to cue off a different output than the one that is running to your monitors etc but i thought that you could nt select the adj8 in live preferences for use at all ?

Just had to switch the cue output! Problem solved.... except for when my iMac goes into sleep mode.... screeching white noise. OUCH.

i also remember having a problem with setting things up as an aggregated output - but cant remember if that was when i owned a pc - not sure if you can set things up in a pc to have an aggregated output

do you know someone else with a mac that you can plug it into ?

I have been told that "coreAudio" handles all audio and drivers in the Mac OSX. Is this true? Seems weird but i guess that would be an explanation as to why my only options in Live's prefs is "CoreAudio" or "NoAudio". Still seems odd though.. taht I can't choose "AUDIO 8 DJ" as my "DeviceType ...

go into your midi view of the audio midi set up...

can you see all of the icons for your midi devices ? sometimes 2 icons for the same device can show up - if so i think uninstall the driver - delete the midi devices from the midi set up and reinstall
