Hahaha. That's what I thought!
I'll dig in some more...
At least I know it's on my side.
Cheers!

Live 11: Exported 'dry' audio doesn't null with itself?
Hey guys, Just checking if there's some user error here... In L9 if I take a dry file (say a mono vocal) and bounce it down Live spits out a stereo file but it still nulls with original mono file. I've just noticed that in L11 the same process won't produce a null. Can somebody check this? Just to a...

Re: Using multiple Launchkey 25's
So yeah, you can use two of the same controller. But there are specific things to consider, and some crossover functionality might happen. Cheers yur2die4! Yeah I might just try and not be so clever and use a couple different controllers. That's what we're doing now (Axiom, Launchkey, Roland) and i...

Using multiple Launchkey 25's
Hi guys, I'm switching back to Live for live use after using MainStage for a while now and wanted to ask a quick question regarding multiple controllers. I only have one Launchkey at the moment so wanted to put this out there before getting another one or two. I'd like set up 2 or 3 Launchkeys for v...

Re: new version of midiStroke / now open source
You want all that stuff on one line, like so: http://charlie-roberts.com/misc/Picture%20204.png The separate lines are for if you have more than one keystroke you want to output for a single MIDI trigger. For example, if you wanted to open your browser and then create a new tab, that could all be a...

Re: new version of midiStroke / now open source
OK so I've gotten my controllers CC's successfully mapped to UP/DOWN/ENTER in the Browser. Very simple of course. But now I'm trying something SLIGHTLY more complicated and I can't seem to get it to work... I want to open the Browser and need to program CMD + ALT + B but it just keeps crashing midiS...

Re: new version of midiStroke / now open source
Hi Charlie, JUST started using midiStroke this last week. Thanks so much for the freeware! Simple question but solution evading me... I've programmed two keys on my controller to move up and down the preset browser but they also trigger the midi note (and resulting tone) of what ever I've got loaded...

Re: Rewire: Logic/Live. Dropping 1st beat of every 8 bars?
Thanks Timothy but... DAMN IT!
I have no idea what the problem could be.
This is driving me crazy. I even tried reinstalling Live.
Guess I might try updating Logic again.
Bah humbug.

This really makes me sad as well.
Vivadixie was such a great album and a big influence at the time too.
God bless.

Re: Rewire: Logic/Live. Dropping 1st beat of every 8 bars?
Bumpage. Is anyone else experiencing something like this? I've been trying to trouble shoot the problem with someone over at the Logic forums but his system is working fine. Strangely my latest attempt has shown the drop-outs now occur at 5.1.1 + 9.1.1 etc etc. The irony is that it's not happening w...

Rewire: Logic/Live. Dropping 1st beat of every 8 bars?
Hi guys, Anybody notice any Rewire strangeness lately? If I set up a VERY simple 4/4 kick/snare pattern in Logic and send to an Impulse in Live I get a drop-out on the first note after every 8 bars. For example I'll lose my kick at 9.1.1 and 17.1.1 etc etc. BTW I've also just tried sending a synth p...

Re: Crashes... It's such a shame.
even 8.1.1 doesn't work? To be honest, I wouldn't know. After seeing how many problems people are having with 8.1 I didn't even bother trying it out. 8.0.9 was running my 'live' set-up fine (as untaxing as it was) so after the reports I had been seeing I didn't want to upset the apple cart by upgra...

Re: Crashes... It's such a shame.
Damn it... So I've moved back to 7.0.18 for now but had an idea I wanted to throw down and forgot my quickkey still opens up 8.0.9 Thought 'what the hell, it's just a quick little sketch. take 5 minutes..." so I kept 8 open, loaded a couple of Simplers, programmed a quick beat, wanted to duplic...

Re: create/ save macro?
You're looking at saving it as a Rack.
Select/Highlight all devices in the Rack and hit CMD+G (creates a group) and then hit the file save tab on the new rack.
The mappable macro controls show up after you create the Rack.
This and more is detailed in the manual.
