Can't decide.
Does the Pulse 2 have many more sonic possibilities than the Microbrute ? The keyboard is not an issue. I have an MFB microzwerg and othe monsynths (Rocket, monotribe, Blofeld )
Thanks for some help.
I know the brute can be instant fun, but the Pulse seems to have just more tools to it.

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
Imagine Korg or some other big name hiting the market with hardware that runs like Push but with THEIR browser laws, asking politely but firmly to arrange your samples just so and so. What chaos for everyone. The rule IS that you build hardware that works smoothly and is a slave to your computer NOT...

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
I was expecting from Push what Ableton has always delivered : extreme competence, user friendlyness and top engineering solutions. It is just now dawning upon me that the instrument i bought is only delivering a good half of what i expected. All because of a blind browser. I thought, great, i'll buy...

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
What i understand is : if i want to see my own files in the Push browser i will have to move and reorganise every single one into newly named categories in the User Library . In doing so i will of course break the link with all my Previous Live, Maschine, Max sets. Which is a crazy thing to do. Beca...

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
@lo.key I understand your point of view, but the goal of monome is to function with apps that crabtree and others have perfected to work with Max. The goal of push is to work perfectly with live, period. One of Pushe's attributes is a browser. And the principal of a browser is to seek and find stuff...

Re: any word from abes on the poor user browsing in push?
When i open up Maschine (yes!) and browse like a breeze so easyly through all my user files and samples, i look at my Push and think : the browser wars have just began.

Re: Jordan Rudess rocking the Push
How quickly one resorts to lowly insults. Anyway, had Thelonious Monk been around today he might have found an interesting and novel way to compose a tune and fit some chords together with Push. I mean Rudess keeps playing the same old progrock molass no matter what you put in his hands. Oh and if y...

Re: Jordan Rudess rocking the Push
Jan Jelinek (Loop finding jazz records), that's what i'm talkin' about. You don't have to crush the keyboard with a hammer. You can think, what is a single note and what can i do with it. But this conversation will obviously go nowhere because taste cannot be taught.

Re: Jordan Rudess rocking the Push
Ableton chose deep sensitive musicians like Robert Lippok (to Rococo Rot) to endorse Push. Not that bozo exhibitionist who is to piano what glam metal is to rock.

Re: Jordan Rudess rocking the Push
Maybe jordan rudess's fingers are agile at hitting far out notes at high speed, but his muic is revolting. How can you people enjoy this cynical pop ? Beyond me.
