1) Open up your midi preferences.
2) Expand the midi port that giving you the problems.
3) Change your midi port type from DirectMusic to MME (or vice versa).
4) Restart Ableton Live.

try these settings.

use button 8 in the device controller to activate the step sequencer (note the channel with the midi clip needs to be active)

don't know if this is a bug or a "feature" in every version of 6.0 so far... if a knob in ableton is set to receive a cc midi button (on/off states), it's not recognized if it's set to pickup or value scaled mode. only in normal mode is it recognized. the only work around i have is to set ...

and i don't know how this actually works out, though i know that classical composers have done it in some way before, but in 1.618 the entire track both musically and visually has the golden ratio all throughout. -Ben WTF is the golden ratio??????? never heard of that before. the golden ratio = 1.6...

ae you saying the 4 buttons under the encoders can be pressed for triggering? you say 4 encoder rotatate, 4 encoder push and 4 buttons. Isn't that 12 functions one preset? 8 buttons, 4 encoders = 12 fuctions. yes. you can use the buttons for triggering as well. http://www.behringer.com/BCN44/index....

i use one. i like it cause it's battery operated and it's dirt cheap so i don't mind bringing it to shows. you have 4 encoders that can be pushed in like buttons giving you a total of 8 buttons. but with 99 preset settings. it's easy to setup. i setup my preset #1 for mackie emulation for use with c...
