im pretty sure the mpc does not retain the sample length when using the 16 levels. unless you use a patched phrase on the newer mpc's. all timestretching is done offline with the older boys.

its not possible to gauge a decent result with 3 poll options, when the number of different setups and configs runs into the 1000's.

not a single crash here ( osx10.5.8 ), just weird behaviour like a sluggish interface and some bugs with drumsracks, all fixed in 8.1.1 for me. very happy.

yes, i've noticed that the interface has speed up now. Seems to be alot more fluid like you mentioned. I havent experienced any crashes yet only weird bugs, it's seems to be "plugins" that are causing the major headaches for some users. thank god for tangible instruments.

8.1 is a bit sluggish for me, i get quite a few beachballz, and i cant drag multiple wav files into drumrack anymore, without it shitting its pants. running osx 10.5.8

there an audio effect rack included in live8, m/s decoding. located in the "channel strips" folder.
