Re: Your experience with 12th gen Intel and Live 11?
Yes, it would also be interesting to see if there are any differences between Win10 and Win11 in Ableton 11 with these new processors.

Your experience with 12th gen Intel and Live 11?
Now that the new 12th gen Alder Lake processors have been around for a while I'm wondering what kind of experience people have been having with the new P-core and E-core architecture and how well Live makes use of them.

Live 11 any issues with 12th Gen Intel 12700K?
Has anyone tested Ableton Live 11 with the newest Alder Lake processors in Win10 or even Win11?
I'm planning to build a new computer with a Core i7 12700K or a 12900K and would like to know if there are any compatibility issues?

Re: Who would like a Midi controller app on Windows Phone ?
I know this is an old post but I see that someone has made another MIDI controller for WP7.5 and this one is free :) http://www.windowsphone.com/en-ca/store/app/meedy-wifi/199eca7f-cb12-439f-b9ec-02d5ae903d38 Again, it's kinda ugly but it looks quite well thought out. The PC server app that communic...

Re: Detach the midi editor
Most people who use desktop systems seriously (musicians,graphics/video people, programmers) have 2 monitors. Laptop users don't. Many people have 3 and sometimes 4 monitors. do many people have 2 screens? I suppose it would be useful if you do. I just use cmd alt with my thumb, and L with my forefin...

It IS strange...
Are these the 32bit versions or the 64bit versions?
64bit VST's won't show up in Live.

Re: Mpk Mini Arpeggiator
I'm guessing the MPK Mini works the same way as with the MPK49.
Here's how it works.

Re: Problems w/ MPK49 & Ableton external clock
No, the Tap Tempo button on an MPK doesn't seem to be able to send out any MIDI at all so it can't be used to control Live's tempo. Thank you so much for the shortest and simplest answer to this! I've been looking for this for a long time, totally didn't occur to me to hit 'play' for the arp to work...

Re: Problems w/ MPK49 & Ableton external clock
You don't need SYNC on for INUT only for OUTPUT if you have your MPK49 set to EXTERNAL.
The arpeggiator and the repeat for the pads also won't do anything unless Ableton Live is playing.
So...
Inut MPK49> ON OFF ON
Output MPK49> ON ON ON
Press Play
the arpegiator and repeat will work

Re: Old VSTs under Win7/64Bit
Put the Intel NSP .dll files in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 instead of C:\Windows\System32 and the effect's .dll files in a folder outside of Program Files ... such as C:\VstPlugins Tell us if this works and if it does, e-mail the developers so they can instruct their users. I would like to use some old VST...

Re: Transfer an Ableton Project between computers
The feature you're looking for is called "Collect All And Save". It will put everything in the project folder including samples. I've used it before and it works but it will make you project files larger of course. I am an Ableton Newbie, so to speak, I have been using it for a few months ...

Re: Who would like a Midi controller app on Windows Phone ?
Yes, it DOES look like Windows Phone 8 will have allot in common with Windows 8 so it will probably support C++. If you haven't done so already, there's lots of discussions about Win8 and Windows Phone at http://channel9.msdn.com. Have you tried out RemoteMIDI yet on your phone? It's the first MIDI ...
