Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...
My money just waits fort Bitwig, ...since I saved it on Live 9 ! If you own and use Reaktor then you know how many synthesizers, effects and samplers are made by users and are available for free at NI forum. I await Bitwigs community to grow at same size and even faster ! The possibilities...

Re: Top 5 things I will regret after going from Live8 to Live9
I don't know why you can't accept that Ableton isn't anymore interested supporting pro's and the more advanced users. Those are bad customers and not much money to make from. 1.7 Million users of Ableton and at least 95% are amateurs and beginners. Those are the customers who need ready made sound l...

Re: I'd like to delete all the sounds n presets I don't like
shit's annoying as fuck, right? i only use the "user library" area when browsing. I keep that organized the way i always have and it works ok. Not a fan of the new browser at all though. ableton made some very odd choices with it. Like why can i only have one folder open at a time in the ...

Re: finally... BITWIG STUDIO! beta 'soon'...
the excitement I get from Bitwig is not about how many years it will take, but about that somebody is at least talking about making the things I want. Live 9 didn't bring them, Ableton isn't talking about them. No other company is doing what I want. To see a single company, whoever they are, talkin...

Re: Did the Survey. Maybe you should have asked better questions
Luckily Studio One appeared in the right time and has the same easy workflow like Live. All with very good quality and stable as a rock... I still use Studio One 1.5 together with Live 8. I would use Live only again if it would deliver more reliability., compatibility and quality with third part ef...

Re: Did the Survey. Maybe you should have asked better questions
Yeah I know and the only point people have against Bitwig is that it isn't released yet. On paper it's already much stronger...! well that's a pretty good point. Live 9 isn't everything i would like it to be, but it does exist, and can be used to write music. bitwig does absolutely nothing right no...

Re: Did the Survey. Maybe you should have asked better questions
there is no bitwig yet I only have 9 because it was a "free" upgrade after buying 8. Yeah I know and the only point people have against Bitwig is that it isn't released yet. On paper it's already much stronger...! For me it's worth to wait cause it looks more promising then Live 9. What I...

Re: Did the Survey. Maybe you should have asked better questions
When I month ago tried to wake up people and wrote my concerns about the direction Ableton goes with Live 9, almost nobody would listen, but tell me I am a troll. When I read what is coming and what is not going to be fixed, I was sure not to update to Live 9. All new things that came haven't been m...

Samplerate conversion only offline !!!
No DAW has a good conversion, not even Protools.
Here is one of the best and it's free:

Re: Project at 88.2k & samples at 44.1k - resample?
I'm confused. Is there nothing to be gained from going to 88.2? If so, why is it an option? This is from one audio software developer: Maybe you trust his reputation and explanation more... https://varietyofsound.wordpress.com/2012/11/02/working-itb-at-higher-sampling-rates/ From Sound on Sound mag...

Re: Happy with Live 9?
Personally, I just can't believe this program was ever released in its current state. It's a disgrace. Nothing but problems so far. Hell, I can't even get live to go into fullscreen properly! It works just fine on 8.3 and 8.4, but on 9.0.2, the Windows taskbar won't stay put in the background: it c...
