Re: Teenage Engineering PO Series

recieved my PO-12 last week. Impressive little thing and the Parameter Locks are really great to get some cool variations on the patterns. I have synced it from the Volca-Beats Sync-Out which is midi synced to live. Allready sampled a few really cool loops from the PO-12 and the Bassdrum is really k...

Re: Studio Gear (Monitors, headphones...)

Adam F7 & AKG K701 user here. I really love the speakers which were a huge upgrade to the 5" Alesis monitors i used before, really good lowend, extremly transparent highs. The headphones are open-back and super transparent, but lack a bit of punch when they are not driven by a proper amp. T...

Re: Does anyone actually use Abletons built in instruments?

used "Operator" a lot in the past, not so much since i got a Yamaha TX7

"Sampler" is still my bread&butter go-to sampler aside from Kontakt

not so much into the other Suite instruments, aside from the good old "Drumracks" that i still like a lot

Re: studio monitoring speakers

i mixed on Alesis Active 520 for the last couple of years and just recently got some Adam´s. They are 5" speakers so dont expect a lot of low frequency detail, but the mids and highs are are pretty good once you got used to them. Alesis M1 Active 520 - £175.68 http://www.thomann.de/gb/alesis_m1...

Re: Bitwig is the Killa!

I switched to Logic years ago. I didn’t realize I should have marked the occasion with a scathing post to Ableton. I suppose I was under the assumption that there were still users who enjoyed using Live. I now realize I should have informed them they were lying to themselves based on my experience....
