the solution for me was to disable NORTON AV whenever i boot up live... with norton running, boot time was about 4-5minutes... with norton disabled, my boot time is about 10-15 seconds....

When you put a VSTi into a MIDI track, there is that XY controller box that comes up where you can control two MIDI parameters of the VST plugin you are using...

Is that box only for live usage, or can you record the movements you make with the mouse in that box?
