Re: Line 6 FBV Shortboard Mk II good for controlling Looper
The FBV Express works great for me because I usually have a guitar in my hands and I can control the transport (play, record, stop) with my foot. All you have to do is plug it into one of our usb ports it does not require an audio interface, that would be for your instruments and microphones.

Under control surfaces I don't see the Express listed. This is where the input-output you mentioned is. Right?

Re: Fade Out
Is there any way to use the draw tool or right click that puts in a preset curve for a quick or slow fade out?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Fade Out
It works just like any other track. It's Mixer/Track Volume.
Another way of automating the volume is to add a Utility plug-in to a track and automating it's Gain. This way it leaves the volume slider for adjusting the overall volume of the track. This is especially useful if you have the volume ...

Re: Fade Out
You can't draw in envelopes in detail on the master track as in a individual clip. Or can you?

Fade Out
Am I correct in saying that you fade out your entire song in the master track with the mixer/track volume parameters or is it done in individual tracks within the track clip with some type of envelope?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Time Change
Akshara or Anyone
If I speed up the tempo on a certain part of my song but have already tracked my guitar. Could I change the tempo of the recorded track also? Would that be what they call warping? How?
Thank You

In Arrangement View, Tempo Automation can be setup on the Master Track. From section 18.4.5 in the Live Manual...
To edit the song tempo envelope, unfold the Master track, choose Mixer from the top envelope chooser and Song Tempo from the bottom one.

Re: Time Change
I was able widen the master track vertically and zoom in usng the spyglass, but where I'm still at little bit of a loss is using the Ctrl key and mouse for precise increments. I can get to 119.98bpm or 120.07 but can't nail 120.00 is just a trial and error process. Holding down the Apple key moves ...

Re: Time Change
Up and down. Just for modifying the node's parameter, not its position in time.
Do you know if there is a way to lock left and right movements for nodes to the grid? most automation is forgiving if you're slightly off but i'd like to be spot on when i'm automating tempo. Thanks.
