DON"T LISTEN TO ANYONE1
I've got both...And you've got to make your own mind up. The PC people swear by the PCs and the Mac owners by the Mac... And then, you've got some who's setting up was a little shaky, and they think it''s the computer...and then they tell you to choose based on their badly set up machine..(Like this...

am agreeing with everyone!
...ow..now that's really out of character! for me to agree in this way... But all these comments (Guest and Martyn) are pertinent and while "on the ground" sometimes things are in fact a little less easy to control, the intentions are good. mmh...I should try this kind of concillant tone i...

nec...!
By all means there are surely several valid opinions, but for my part, as someone whose priorities in choosing monitors were: 1 - To afford several monitors 2 - To have good quality pixelation, but not spend as a graphic designer would, but rather as someone who might spend long hours in from of the...

Definitely with you on both counts...he he! I think it'd be very cool to have a little bonus for the last Legit post...absolutely...mmh...how about a free update to the next stage of Live's evolution? (!) For instance, as you so kindly suggested that I hould get some small reward for my last fortuit...

You who held the place at the top of the live 3 beta forum for so long, you have returned! will you be making a bid for the top on the upcoming 4? :D Hi Forge, I have seen your name around for a long time...sorry for not seeing your post before. Very nice of you to notice ...

ok...more football
And as yet no swiss people have posted 'english bastards'! huh...! no, i'd be stupid to do so...after all, i'm not seeing the point of insulting a whole nation because of a ball being pushed by their 11 halfwits into my nation's 11 halfwits' net but you have to admit that all was not as glor...

I'm really here to check on live4's release...but couldn't resist this one...! It's just to frustrating to see people oversimplifying their understanding of events..! do you REALLY think that France, UK, Germany, Italy, etc. are perfect un-corrupted governments??? ...of course not, but the point rea...

ok, neither absynth nor kontakt will do what you're asking for! you need an audio editor. Bias' Peak is by far the best if your mac based. A number of others are available if you're PC. Do not buy Kontakt for this purpose (kontakt has an option to assign a sample editor as it doesn't do thisd...and ...

vsti's in live...
ok, simple...: as soon as VSTi's become usable through and recordable into Live - Even, to start, with only one or two midi sequencing track only - then, Live will become quite a different tool immediately. As composer,it is already, in my case, a vital part of my process, but many of my non-dj frie...

depending how you burn the aif, wav etc to cd for transferring, you might have to rename them, but if you do it right, it's great.

unitor8mk2 not compatible?
Could anyone let me know whether Live is compatible with eMagic's Unitor8mk2?
I've finally run out of midi interfaces and need to use it but it has never appeared in the midi page of live's prefs...
thanks.

sync trouble...help!
well, I'm pasting this after already putting it in "tips and tricks" but I'm desperate for advice and hope you won't mind too much! not particular to beta 3.03...but I've always had a little problem with midi: 1- Does Live not recognise emagic's Unitor8 mk2? (nothing shows up in the prefer...
