try doing some simple math with it and see if you can sync properly:

First convert the rhythm of her footfalls to BMP...

Let's say that you time her average footfalls to be 2.25 every second as an example (approximate). Well, 2.25 * 60 (seconds in a minute) = 135 BPM

Match your tempo of your ...

yeah warp markers could work if the tempo is close enough after I have made it 3 seconds long...I could just adjust with the warp markers. The issue though for me is that:

Video is 3 seconds long
Audio loop is 5 seconds long and tempo is too slow so..

Step 1 - I timestetch it to make the loop ...

I pulled both into Apple Soundtrack and I timestretch the audio so the drumbeat matches her footsteps - (I have to make her footstep and the music sync in time.)Now I have 2 loops ...

ok duhh, I got it...instead of double clicking the effect to add it or dropping it in the bottom area I was dragging and dropping it into the top of the return channel...and then it wasnt working.

So i guess it doesnt look like you really need to reassign your audio to and from to set up a return ...

Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me how to set up a simple effects return. The manual doesnt give much in the way of how to do it and is a litlle overly simple...though i think this is pretty basic.

I have several audio tracks and the I want to apply the same reverb, eq , comp, to many of ...

Impulse is a software instrument. Instruments take midi and makes audio out of it. Software audio effects takes audio and makes cooler audio out of it. Software midi effects take midi and makes other midi from it.

I feel the need to say this....

I have only recently switched from Digital Performer to Live....and now my world of recording if finally perfect. Ableton Live:

-has a VERY high fun factor compared to many other DAWs
- is VERY quick and easy to learn
-has a great interface that is not hampered by loads of crap unlike so many DAWs ...

Just purchased and installed live 5....

hi all I have lurked here on and off for a while and contemplated the purchase of live. I finally gave in and am convinced I have made the perfect decision (after becoming hooked to the demo).

Anyhoo, just introducing myself and I may have some questions in the next few weeks.

thanks, I am really ...
