Re: Mac Mini M2 Pro & Ableton Live - compatibility and stability
Just wanted to make a little update. Got the Mac Mini M2 Pro a week ago and the machine is an absolute beast. Im running 64 samples buffer size with Motu Ultralite mk4 with no problem. 32 is possible also. The fans have not yet gone past 1750 rpm so its totally silent. Even when it gets warm the fan...

Re: Mac Mini M2 Pro & Ableton Live - compatibility and stability
Thanks Tarekith, thats good to know. Im pretty sure it will be a lot better. Im quite fed up with the fan noise now. Makes it very difficult to hear subtle reverb when monitoring on speakers. Im using it docked with the screen closed so that might not help. I´ll probably go for the M2 Pro. It will b...

Re: Mac Mini M2 Pro & Ableton Live - compatibility and stability
Im also looking to upgrade my machine to the new Mac mini M2 Pro. I have a Intel Macbook Pro 2019 6 core i7 2.6 Mhz. Its a cabable machine but the fans are running at approx 5000 rpm most of the time making it quite noisy. So my main thing is I want a more silent computer. Im not using much plugins....

Re: Midi note offset for hardware
Hi Jur! Its not a terrible idea. Sorry if I was unclear. But this is with delay compensation off. Thats the most stable sync setup I have found. I just use very few plugins, so its ok. But with delay compensation off midi track delay is not available. Its greyed out. So there is no possibility to of...

Midi note offset for hardware
Hello, We have midi clock sync delay in preferences and that's great for clocked devices. But a lot of hardware synths also need an offset for midi notes to stay in sync. For example my Juno-60 with dcb interface is about 12 ms late. Also my MKS-80 is about 11 ms late. It would be so nice to be able...

Re: AUv3 support in 11.2b3
Yeah you're probably right.
But it would be interesting to know if theres any other plugins that are now accessible in Live.

AUv3 support in 11.2b3
Hello!
Now that Live supports AUv3 plugins does that mean that plugins from Mainstage and Logic will show up in Live?
Maybe someone with Mainstage/Logic could check?
Thanks

Re: Looking for an arpeggiator
Yeah, I know of that. But it doesn't have the note offset thing.

Re: Looking for an arpeggiator
Still haven't found this kind of arpeggiator for Live. Most arpeggiators I've found are very complex and focus on chance and polyrhythms. Bitwig has exactly this arpeggiator I'm looking for. With individual control over steps with note on/off. Pitch offset, velocity and gate. And you can choose arp ...

Re: Pallas velocity hardwired to filter?
Can share a screenshot later when im back from work.
But from what I remember: Take an init sound. No modulation or cables connected. Velocity to filter button off. Velocity to amp off. Turn filter cutoff down a bit.
Play different velocitys and there is different cutoff on each note.
