Hi. I have a project where I use some instruments from the reason library. It usually works slim-to-none latency, but after a while working in this project _a_lot_of_latency_ appears. I don't get it. My CPU Load is something around 10% - 25%.

I've tried to get ableton live to recive incomming midi data (through the x-stations midi IN). I've been in the global setting and turned "MIDI IN TO U--". Live recognizes the x-station as a soundcard and midi controller - but doesn't recieve incomming midi through MIDI IN.

What am I ...

Any of you guys tried to use the fcb 1010 along with live, with a novation x-station as midi input to the laptop?? I can't really get any midi input, and I can't really figure pout why.

I've sampled an old keyboard, which i play from a drum rack in ableton, with each note on a drum pad. Now i've tweaked the sound using some different audioeffects.

I record choir using live, during our live-performance. Because we have arrangened the choir, I know what "is comming". Therefore i want to use automation panning.

How can I decided where/when a surdant track should pan, before audio has been recorded to it?
