Re: Forcing Ableton's timeline to follow me...

Hey Everyone, First thanks for taking the time to help and suggest workarounds. I will try the Master tempo so it follows the clip but I dont think that is going to help me if I am doing a mutlitrack mix that wasn't recorded to a click. It might help with my original scenario though..... Just an FYI...

Forcing Ableton's timeline to follow me...

Hey all, I have scoured the internet and these forums for many an hour and have yet to find a satisfactory answer to my main question. I want Live to follow me and what I do. Hear me out.... I play a song on guitar and it has all the little timing nuances that I want. I know the groove is around 82 ...

Re: Yet another audio interface query. Firewire!

Hey, Well since your on a Windows machine, I would probably steer you towards the presonus stuff. I have their Firebox interface which is now the Firestudio Mobile. Very good drivers from my experience. Their tech support is hit and miss but I bought mine from Sweetwater and have a very good relatio...

DKFH Sup /C/V

DKFHS Sup is a plugin. You run it from you host that you use to make music. Such as Cubase, SONAR, Tracktion, etc...

Please see your host's manual for inserting plugins or VSTi's into a project.

Hope this helps,

Edirol PCA30

Hey, Yes I have one. I use it mainly with OSX. It works just fine. If you are looking for remote recordings as well as LIVE remote mappings it works like a charm. Don't know about Windows though haven't used it on my PC as of yet. Drivers are stable and you get this cool editor prog for building you...

Only way is to reinstall OSX. You could always use a dual boot with Tiger and Panther. Just either partition the disk or if you have two disks in the machine put one os on each physical disk.

Main thing is memory. XP Pro is limited to 4GB RAM. Without throwing the 3GB RAM limit switch in the WinXP boot.ini file , Win apps are limited to 2GB RAM and the OS uses the other 2GB. With the boot.ini switch you can allocate 3GB RAM to your apps but that is it. 64bit versions of Windows will allo...
