Hey Everyone, First thanks for taking the time to help and suggest workarounds. I will try the Master tempo so it follows the clip but I dont think that is going to help me if I am doing a mutlitrack mix that wasn't recorded to a click. It might help with my original scenario though..... Just an FYI...

Hey, Well since your on a Windows machine, I would probably steer you towards the presonus stuff. I have their Firebox interface which is now the Firestudio Mobile. Very good drivers from my experience. Their tech support is hit and miss but I bought mine from Sweetwater and have a very good relatio...

Hey, Yes I have one. I use it mainly with OSX. It works just fine. If you are looking for remote recordings as well as LIVE remote mappings it works like a charm. Don't know about Windows though haven't used it on my PC as of yet. Drivers are stable and you get this cool editor prog for building you...

Main thing is memory. XP Pro is limited to 4GB RAM. Without throwing the 3GB RAM limit switch in the WinXP boot.ini file , Win apps are limited to 2GB RAM and the OS uses the other 2GB.
