Just uploaded a new track to my new channel dedicated to instrumentals.

Just how we can save a default audio track and midi track it would be nice to be able to save a default group track.

So, for example, every time I group tracks together the group track already has my favorite bus compressor and eq on it.

I played with it a little last night. It was pretty smooth and fun. Just not much documentation on all of the functions of the music portion yet. The software detects if you are working on a drum rack clip to switch to rhythm mode. All other tracks default to melodic mode.

+1 Using the current group function is not good enough. It can actually lead to performance issue if the group contains too many cpu intensive effects because all of the tracks in the group are forced to be processed on the same core instead of efficiently being spread across multiple cores. i use crashplan and love it. unlimited storage and it keeps multiple versions of files so u can restore versions of a file that is older than the most recent. life saver. especially if u ever decided u weren't happy with the database tag changes u made in maschine or kore like i did.

8.0.4 on windows but i have done the same in version 7 as well. There should also be a "Install Live Pack" option in Ableton Live's File Menu. If you are running a Mac there might be a difference with double clicking the pack but you should definitely have an "Install Live Pack" ...

If you just double click the Samplification.alp file it will launch in Live automatically and prompt you to install the package to your library
