Re: Mixer/Tempo control from Laptop/computer keyboard

The idea is that one wouldn't need a launchpad or anything else (I have a LOT of controllers). The suggetion is a special "mixer/tempo" mode that allows one to use keys to set focus on the that has been selected, and then use (e.g.) "v" for volume, "p" for pan, etc, and...

Mixer/Tempo control from Laptop/computer keyboard

I’d like to suggest a possible method of controlling the Live Mixer/Tempo controls in Session Mode from the computer keyboard, using the arrow keys. (There already may be a way do to this; if so, please enlighten me... :) The issue is being able to set focus on a control, and then cycle through trac...

Re: Push 2 wood sides.

One of these works fine (I took the page holders off). And you can use a decksaver.

Re: Push 2 - Touch Screen

I ordered an Inspiron 17 7778 (17" screen) instead, got it yesterday, DOA (spent two hours with t/s,and it is now on its way back for refund. After seeing the 17" screen, though, I decided it was too big, and went back to the 17 (7569), which has just been confirmed and will be here 6/23 I...

Push 2 - Touch Screen

After much agonizing, I sprung for the new Dell Inspiron I5 (7778) 17" 2-in-1 laptop. http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/inspiron-17-7778-2-in-1-laptop/pd?ref=PD_OC http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-inspiron-17-7000-2-in-1/ (It was just released a couple of days ago; luckily I was able to cancel...

Re: Yeco Touch Screen Controller

It looks promising, for sure. My trial of it is in another thread, but my issues may not apply to everyone.... or even most... ) I'm not sure it has the equivalent of "Session Overview" (one should at least be able to organize in 89x8 blocks to correspond to Push), and the colors of the pa...

Re: Yeco: Touchscreen Windows/OS X for Ableton Live

Thank you very much for the refund. I will certainly reconsider repurchasing it if I upgrade my portable computer and give it another shot - Ableton Live really needs a program like this. I have removed/uninstalled Yeco from my computer, and very much wish you and your company success in the future....

Re: Yeco: Touchscreen Windows/OS X for Ableton Live

Well, I just tried it for a couple of hours; kind of disappointing for me. Touch Screen Response is very laggy and slow for me (granted, I am running a Pentium dual core at 2.12 GHZ with an SSD - Dell 3147 2-in-one), and it doesn't track the underlying Live set very well. Latency was extremely slow ...

I just checked it out; it looks great! Not sure if it will do scales/chords like Push, but it would be an easy upgrade....

Re: Push 2 Scales

Does this mean that one can now assign a scale to a drun rack? If so, this is great news!... Really neat improvement for Live (independent of push). It means that in the "Receive" chooser of the drum rack one can now chose "All Notes" so the drum rack will play all notes input to...

Re: Push 2 crashes Live 9.5 EVERY TIME!

Same issue, every single time I start Push 2 it crashes Live, no matter when or what order or... anything. It works totally fine on my laptop. Things I've tried: -reinstall 9.6 (many times) -delete old versions -delete preferences -delete the Push USB drivers in Device Manager -9.6 Beta -All of the...
