Finger Drumming

I would like to configure each row of the Push to common midi note (with each row corresponding to a single drim sound), so I can use iindividual fingers on the pads for drum rolls, etc. So the first row would be (e.g.), c2 - Bass drum, the second row C2 (snare drum) etc. If this can be done in Live...

APC Mini Mk2, APC40 Ml2 broken

I recently turned on Live after a long period using these two controllers, and it appears they are broken (most recent Live/Win11 updates) The APC Mini Mk2 doesn't even appear in the midi options (it did for awhile), and is not recognized in Device manager. When it did appear, the track record butto...

Re: Live 10/11

yes, I have a ticket in to Line 6 (I think it is their issuem act ually, since it doesn't work as a plug-in in Machine 2)) I just want to see if anyone else has a similar issue. The pluigin does come up in my Alienware R2; it is only the XPS-q3 that it fails (maybe others, I haven't had a chance to ...

Live 10/11

For me, Ableton will not load latest version of Helix Native VST 2; either I get a serious error crash (onspecified) or a message saying the VST is not compatible with Live. Computer is Dell XPS-13, Win10 Pro.

Don't know if this is Ableton issue or Line 6.... Other vst's load without issue.

Push 2 matrix configuration

Is it possible to configure the Push matrix as a 6x6 (or 6 x eight) sub block in the 8x8 matrix to make it easier to handle 3/4 and 6/8 time signatures?

Re: A good time to be a guitarist?

With all the fantastic effects modeling available now into FRFR amps (Helix, et. al.) it seemed to be a good time to be a guitarist, especially since it is so easy to shred on an electric guitar (compared to a classical and Flamenco). Even so, I used to think of myself as the Johnny Appleseed of th...

Convert Ausio File of loops into individual Audio clips

I have an audio file of about 320 measures in 6/4 that I would like to convert into individual audio clips (as opposed to samples in a drumrack) or MIDI clips. Is there any easy way of doing this in Live? (i.e., breaking out the loops into individual clips nd exporting them as individual .wav clips)

Re: stop recording with a footswitch

ctrl+m then assign the global trck play in the bottom of the clips grid area. This was correct answer for me, thanks! The problem is that you can't use play off/on with the same switch, so it doesn't imitate the space bar.... (If I read you right) That said, what do you mean by the " global tr...

Re: Truths about perceived quality in audio interfaces for ITB

I'm a nylon string Flamenco guitarist, and the audio interfaces I had been using on a regular basis were a FocusRite Scarlett 2i2 (old hardware, new drivers), and a GT-001. I had been very happy with both - Until - Recently I had the chance to work with both Line 6 Native (as a VST to Ableton Live)...

Re: Controlling Live with a USB Footwitch

Update: Just got my second keyboard in: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IQL2VCE/ It works fine; since I don't have any keys assigned, it worked out of the box without the Microsoft program, as long as the focus was on Ableton. You don't have to be all that precise about aiming, either. If Live ...
