It will still work, just make sure you log in to your account and download from the latest version area rather than from the front page.

Ok sorted this.
Go to the Ableton site and go to the downloads area then latest version.
Download the suite 8.04 update and install.
Now go to Live preferences and delete your demo library. Choose fix library and this will now install all full packs

I've got exactly the same problem after reinstalling Live. Have read about completely re-installing the library to a different location but this seems a bit extreme

I've been running 8.03 for about a week or so on OSX, and while it hasn't exactly been smooth it has at least started up everytime.

Now Live won't even start up without crashing.

I can post the crash log but it's pretty long. Re-installing hasn't helped.

Any ideas?
