everything looks normal there, except when live goes nuts for 1/2 seconds. like a glitch effect (non stop repeating madness) then goes back to normal, then goes back to it after a minute or so.

i re-installed live lite6 again, and using the absynth4 demo and so far, nothing weird. which is strange ...

since its not about live, i decided to post this here.

anyway. for some reason my 2496 is giving me problems on live! the cpu goes from like 10% to 400% or something every minute! i installed the latest drivers and i used the old ones and its always the same stuff. i never had these problems before ...

i upgraded to live lite 6 and i like it more than version 4 (which is what i was using, never upgraded to version5 tho'. im lazy). but no problems here tho'. running it on windows xp.

I did get to use 4 Audio and 4 MIDI tracks, which was a blessing from heaven. I wish I could have more, but oh ...

i haven't found a need to upgrade yet, except maybe more tracks, but 4 audio and 4 midi is perfect for me! and a while ago i downloaded the free live6 lite upgrade so more madness, and more thank you's ...

i have the same problem, except i'm not using a noetbook but a desktop and my firewire solo is noisy as hell too. with no instruments plugged in! i open guitar rig and its noisy as hell :-( and it sucks to use the noisy reduction on gr because it just doesn't rule at all with it.

im downloading the open beta of live6 and i was hoping it would have it.

i hate this magazine. they even use articles from computer music too. (apart from future music of uk). it sucks. and the cd is crap compared to the dvd of fm and cm.

and so many damn ads us magazines have.

since this is about hardware drum machines, i thought i'd ask

which one should i get? i really like both, but i really cant choose. and if you think one is better than the other, maybe you can say why?

im working on some music for a game but i cant find a right sequencer that will let me export good ol' midi songs, that is, general midi stuff. do you guys know of any old software (or a new one) that will let me export midi madness? i tried acid6 but it makes all the instruments into the same one ...
