That same undo history spamming occurs also, when you map one Midi controller Knob to multiple parameters in live.
Turning that knob then results in loads and loads of tiny increments of the two or more mapped parameters being written into the undo history.
very, very super annoying.

Just one question:
Can you map controls when NOT in user mode?

Re: Another reality check
I find the biggest block in my musical creativity is me. I envy these people who can blame the software or the hard ware... ...there's no lack of creativity here; especially not hardware induced! :) Push was announced as the one in all controller solution for ableton live performances. I spent a lo...

Re: Another reality check
nono, this wasnt a comment on style... push is marketed to reach as big of an audience possible; and as we all know, people who don't know their shit are the biggest market out there! so they just needet to aim at Musicians that are not so much into actually doing something... it feels like push and...

Re: Another reality check
About MIDI mapping - I've not tried to map anything as the default state Push is in works great for me And That's exactly the point! They force you into using a workflow they kind of think is the one and only way to go. You'll have to use every button for exactly what they imagined them to be usefu...

Re: Another reality check
push is a great piece of hardware, dont get me wrong!
it has just very little (to none at all) personalising possibilities!
And that's the one thing i love about live! everybody can use it differently!
it is such a pitty this basic concept of customising your setup isn't present in the hardware.

Re: Another reality check
I don't really see how it would be so easy to implement and to deal with live with only ONE Push. The APC solution is straight forward for example: Whatever control you map to something else just loses it's original functionality, While all the rest still does what the APC script does. So you can u...

Re: Another reality check
Ye, I have a really hard time understanding why they've come up with something that is so strictly limited to the ONE channel selected/highlighted. This makes push near unusable in live situations. It's like they never even thought about playing notes/drums AND changing something on a different chan...

Re: really?
i'm not talking "goodies" here... push is missing some really essential functionalities for live performances
