What's the best way to record the click to a track in LIVE 6? I need it for one of my musicians to practice a tricky part to and I want to make them an mp3 of the tune with the click track audible.

If you use a Live 4 serial number that was unlocked after July 1st (I think that was it), it will by-pass the paid upgrades and take you to a page that will give you a new serial number and let you download Live 5. That's how it worked for me, once I used the correct serial number.

I found out what the problem was. With the original CD that I got with Live 4, there was a card that had a serial number on it. So, I used that serial number when trying to download Live 5. But I didn't realize that after I had originally unlocked the version on the CD, I downloaded a more recent ...

p.s. I unlocked my Live 4 in mid-July.

Thanks for the help. Your English is great. The sound is loud, but I see what you mean. That fader makes the wave larger or smaller. I didn't know about that.

Actually, the only place I can see the wave is in the Clip View at the bottom. The mysterey is why it doesn't show up in Arrangement View ...

I have some files of live percussion music I recorded at a friends studio using Live 4. When I open them in Live on my Power Book, I get files that appear to be empty when I look at them in Arrangement View ...

Yeah, the Photoshop analogy helps. I don't have to have a free one though. I'm spending some money to get my home studio started so I don't mind paying real money for something that works.
