Re: Exporting/rendering all tracks with send effects printed
One way around it is to export all dry stems, then set up the same return tracks in your live set, and use clip automation to send the required amount per clip to the relevant sends. That way you can make adjustments to each clip whenever you want to without having to go and create new clips/stems. ...

Re: EXPORT PROBLEMS: Track volumes changing?!?
Post a screenshot of the session view when the track's playing so we can see the track levels etc, I have a hunch as to what's going on, but can't really tell unless I can see it.

Re: Triggering Clips without activating sequencer "play"
How about putting your clips into simpler and assigning them to different keys? You can then trigger them without global playback commencing.

very tempting! this system runs stable, also in stress tests? I've buiklt a hackintosh several years ago which was a pita... curious! Yeah, ran prime95 on it for hours, and it runs solid at 4.4ghz with a stock cooler, although the case is a good one and has additional cooling, with a beefed up CPU ...

Re: Does an SSD make a difference?
I put a Vertex 3 in my macbook pro, it runs at 500mb a second read and write. it's a heck of a lot faster at loading large live sets than the old drive. My live set took a few minutes to load on the old drive, on the SSD it loads in just over 30 seconds. Just make sure that any sound banks and sampl...

Re: Record finished track instead of exporting?
To get the resample the correct level, go through all your tracks and adjust the source clip or synth to be at the right level with the track fader at 0db. Your Master fader should also remain at 0db, so the source material (clips and synths) on all tracks should be set to a level that doesn't cause...

Re: FIRST kick is way too loud WTF!?
Sounds like the kicks are being heavily compressed, and what you're hearing is the 1st kick coming in before the compressor's attack time setting has reached it's peak. Turn of the compressor for a minute - if all the kicks are now loud, then turn them down rather than hammering them with a compress...

Re: LCD TV as PC Monitor?
Been running a 42 inch TV with 1080 res for nearly a year, crystal sharp pic when used with a mini display port to hdmi cable. The size takes some getting used to, but once you get used to it, it's pretty damn cool :) Here's a pic of it running ableton: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=421008...

Re: Quantize clip launch - problem
Hi, I'm building a liveset for a theatre-performance, mostly a clicktrack for a live-musician and a couple of playback audioclips. Both shall be launched following the action of the actors on stage (so the clips can not have the same length every show) I.e. I want to get out of a 16bar-loop when th...
