I think it's the second case you pointed.

The same way we can reverse the entire sound of an audio clip (including any effects that are fed to it), we should be able to do it for a MIDI clip.

But I'll check that plugin. It's just that this seems to be an easy feature to implement on Live.

Reverse Playback

If there's an easy way of doing this, I don't know. If there isn't, this would be a cool and simple (I think) feature to add: reverse playback on MIDI clips (as easy to set up as in an AUDIO clip).

Usually I don't use any audio clips, it's all done in MIDI and sometimes I want to try some reverse ...

those speaker are not the best, but they should be able to handle what you're doing with them.

and yeah, its probably your room causing the problems. more than likely you're gettting more boom from the room and its muddying everything up. if you can get the speakers away from the wall, or even ...

I have those same monitors. Its not your monitors (unless you have the volume on the back of them too low).

Its the position or the room or both. And get some risers. Auralex about 29 bucks at Guitar Center. You can probably get em cheaper on line.

google around a bit for reference monitor ...

I'm using M-Audio BX8 Deluxe monitors. They are placed near the wall in an attic, so I guess the acoustics are far from the recommended but I have no other option as of now. The speakers are standing on a wooden desk and they have a little foam-like paper just to prevent them from directly sitting ...

there is a plug in which you can find on kvr which simulates the sound of working on monitors when you are working on headphones - i cant remember the name of it though .. maybe someone else does

you can set the distance between the "monitors" and the distance from which you are situated from the ...
