I have a question for you guys in the same situation. Which audio interface are you using? Is it USB or FireWire? I'm dealing with a RME | Fireface 400 (Firewire).

Same problem here. Ableton's CPU meter is reading 70% if not 80%. Activity monitor shows 160% CPU usage. Unsustainable.
