As far as how much im looking to spend, ill spend whatever i need to as long as its justifiable but im really looking to go as low as i can without skimping out.
My soundcards include a profire 2626 in the studio and in the mobile rig a presonus firebox in which case 6-pin FW is of importance.

Re: Taking the Apple plunge.
All depends on what you need to do. Now and for the next 10 days it's a good moment to buy because the new generation of Macbook pro is out and you can get 100 Euros discount on the previous models, especially the MacBook Pro 13" where the difference between new and old models is negligible. Y...

Is ASIO4All necessary?
Right now im running a presonus firebox and in Live it is recognized as preonus firbox ASIOdriver. I have ASIO4all installed and have had it for a while now. My question is, is it necessary and does it affect performance in any way? Im and upgrading to a Profire 2626 this week and i need to have the...

Cd Burning Software
What professsional software are you guys using to burn your audio to master cds? Looking for something super affordable and gets the job done. Doesnt need all of the excess features (although nice) as long as it burns cd's properly.

Autotune EFX doesnt export properly
I exported some tracks today and used Autotune EFX for pitch correction. In the set the settings sounded 100% right and the track was fine. When i exported it, it was 100% wrong? any suggestions.

Clicks and pops on export
Ok so this is really weird. I exported 14 tracks today, played them back and they were clicking and popping? This has happened a few times before and i cant figure out what the deal is? The set contained 3 audio files. Export was the master track, 44k, 16 bit, no dither, no normalizing. Ableton live...

Re: anyone know where.....
I had the same problem when I bought a new Toshiba laptop - they used to have a two pronged plug and now it comes with a three pronged one. Changing sound cards will not make a difference. Just get one of these and problem solved. http://rsk.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pRS1-6848306w345.jpg S...

Re: Recording Metronome
what happens if you set a track to 'resample' and then sent the CUE output to the same outs as the Master? can you send the CUE out to a track? I don't recall, don't think you can. That might work, will have to try it out later. I know that ive done this before, but i cant remember :S and i think i...

Re: Recording Metronome
Hmm, thats a good idea, but it could use up unnecessary amounts of CPU (although insignificant, every little bit counts).
Im sure theres a way you can route lives metronome to a channel.

Recording Metronome
How would you record the metronome onto a new track so that you could export it or use it for tracking?
