VST3 Support for Acustica-Audio Acqua plug-ins

On Windows 10: It appears that Acustica is using an uncommon VST3 folder/file setup. Other DAWs work load these VSTs correctly (Studio One, Cakewalk as examples that I've tested) But latest Ableton Live 10 release and 10 beta do not. My other VST3s are loading correctly, but Acustica's are not. This...

Re: Ableton Live 10 - whats your favourite new features?

CAPTURE . This is what I have wanted for years. I do live looping starting with a drum trigger kit. Previously, I would sit down at the kit, play a beat, trigger a looper device to record the audio out of the drum VST. Looper did a good job of figuring out the tempo, then I could move on to playing...

Re: Surface Laptop: 1.6 pounds and real damn fast

Bitwig's support for multi-touch is the first real step that makes me want to go review it. I have a Surface Pro 3 and a large touch screen at home. The ability to leverage touch is becoming critical to my choice of DAW. I use touch in Sonar a lot, and I'm constantly frustrated with having to duplic...

+10000

It's pretty ridiculous that in 2014 and Version 9+ of the program dominated by MIDI, that Sysex is still not supported.

New Device: Midi Looper like Audio Looper - tempo not requir

I love recording new drum beats on the fly from a midi drum pad set or digital drum kit. It makes for a very fast workflow and captures new ideas without the need to set the tempo, turn on the click, record a midi clip, turn off the click. Instead, I can just sit down, play until a beat sounds good ...

Looper Automation Improvements

I use Max for Live to allow for easy automation of effects on duplicated channels - mostly based on looping of live recorded drums (acoustic channel, drum machine channel, percussion channel). The problem is that several critical controls on Looper are not accessible in the API: Clear, Undo, Drag/Dr...

Re: Looper - record MIDI and "Drag Me" for multiple passes

I want the same feature. I records loops on the fly starting with drums from a midi pad kit. Its very freeing tomhave the tempo set on the fly with the first drum loop. But I'd love to have the midi notes recorded in a clip or through an alternative drag and drop so I could change the triggered drum...

Re: Multi-touch Support for Windows 7

Yes please. I agree. I have a multi-touch laptop now and I have no interest in 3rd party controllers. I want real touch control for Ableton live.

Re: Program Change recognition - WHY NOT?

I agree 100% - Plus it's not documented that PC messages aren't supported so I just wasted a ton of time trying to figure out if my old ADA MPC controller was broken. ABLETON, PLEASE support PC messages for MIDI remote. So here I go again... in my endless quest to come up with a simple solution to t...

Re: Ableton 8 Mouse Issues

I'm having a similar issue as well. Mouse works fine in all other applications, but in Live 8.0.3 I have to move the wheel really fast to get the Live browser scroll bar to move at all. Very frustrating. And I sure do wish the mouse wheel would control sliders and dials when selected.
