Re: Bitwig Studio 1.2 'mind-blowing free update'
How is that "plug in sandboxing" works? Anybody experienced a VST crashed but everything else is ok?
For my experience %99 of crashes happen because of plug ins. So that Bitwig never crashes??

Re: Understanding Push's button color codes
Woah, cool. I'll check out your code. So sending a code over midi implies that the fading and blinking functionality is built into Push or it's python script?
It is in the Hardware.
I assume these values don't apply when using the control_surfaces Button_Matrix interface when using M4L (which ...

Re: Understanding Push's button color codes
I am trying to get a button to pulse smoothly from bright green to the darkest green, sort of like fading opacity.
For slow blinking (pulsating) you need to send the color(note) on midi channel 10.
For fast blinking you need to send the note on midi channel 14.

1) Switch to Arrange view
2) In the top area (where you select the loop) right click and insert a new signature
3) On the Master track open a new automation lane and select Mixer->Song Tempo -> Draw the tempo change you want.

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
no push support yet
It is coming along... there is a thread on the Bitwig forum, some people working on it together and a script to download. I have not tried it yet. There is some core stuff not yet in the API so it will be a while for full support.
Where is that download? please.

I wrote a little tool which allows you to use Abletons Push controller with Cockos Reaper via OSC.
You can control track parameters, devices, transport and play the pads.
Get it from: http://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Push/Push.html

It is not as bad as you might think. The music apps on Android are constantly evolving and for all usage scenarios there is now a capable app:

Re: Using Launchpad without Live (e.g. commands) possible?
The Launchpad is a "simple" midi device which means it sends MIDI data out of the box and also can receive MIDI for lighting up its buttons. You can get the full spec from Novation.
With most DAWs or programs who support MIDI you can use it out of the box e.g. for executing a command or similar ...

I have the same problem. I checked that I have the latest Max and also tried with Ableton 9.0.1 and the 9.0.2 Beta. Running on 64 bit and Windows 8.kleine wrote:Make sure to have the latest Max 6.1 version (should read ee85fad) in the about screen.

Did Cycling 74 confirm that there is an upcoming 64 bit version of Max (or M4L)? Did they say when?

Adjust the zoom factor with the mouse wheel
I would like to adjust the zoom factor of the UI by holding the CTRL key and using the mouse wheel like you can do in e.g. all browsers, adobe reader, office, etc.
